Miss Kayla – Kayla Holowatiuk

Kayla Holowatiuk is a young passionate instructor. She has been involved in Ukrainian Dance since she was ten years old, starting with the Peace River Muzyka dancers and moving to the Grande Prairie Troyanda dancers after two years. At the age of fourteen she began assisting Vincent Rees and found an even greater passion for dance, instructing.

At the age of eighteen she began teaching her own classes and assisting Paul Olijnyk with his.

She has now been instructing in Two Hills for three years on her own, and was previously co-instructing in Lamont. She has travelled to Ukraine three times for three different styles of tours and workshops. Her favourite was the ultimate Instructor workshop in 2011 with Cobblestone Freeway. She has attended UDIC in 2009 and she also has her tier one level in Shumka Syllabus and is enrolled to take her next two levels this fall.

Kayla loves children and Ukrainian culture. Sharing her passion with kids of all ages is her favourite thing to do. She is very excited to instruct the Kvitka dancers and hopes for a fun year with lots of great memories and learning!
